But it’s not an easy job to grasp the use of abstract noun because of the lack of this kind of grammar in Chinese. From my own experience, the knowledge of word-formation serves as the basis. The first step is to find the central word that reflects the main information either adjective or verb then apply the word-formation rules into practice. Besides the words or phrases conveying the meaning of condition or causes can be singled out and be used them as the subject. Look at the following examples: (1) 妇女退休后完全过一种家庭生活，没有象男的一样感到可怕。 Withdrawal from employment to completely domesticity is far less threatening experience for a woman than for a man. (2) 我们早就用不着生活约了上极力节约。 The need for strict economy in our lives has long since disappeared. (3) 我害怕起来而且越来越害怕。 The fear set in and commenced to build up. (4) 大多数人对学生的要求持同情态度。 There is a considerable public sympathy for the students’ demands。 (5) 由于时间不够，他只能放弃去一些风景点和名胜古迹。 Shortness of time has required the omission of some places of natural beauty and historical interests. (6) 大多数的家庭主妇常常逛商店，这样她们可以不要老做家务了，也可解解无聊。 To most housewives a shopping trip often serves as an escape from housework as well as a relief from boredom. Ⅳ．Conclusion As a language spoken by nearly 30% of the world population English takes on various forms, maybe the very variousness contributes to the growing population of English to some extent. Subject, a basic component of a sentence is very important to the production of a sentence. Since great disparity between English and Chinese, that is, English is a subject prominent language, Chinese belong to the topic prominent language. We should attach great importance to the subject. From the analysis above, with the types of subjects vary .the methods change as well.
