Therefore it is significant that this thesis tries to explore themechanism of inter-subjectivity in feminist translation and to find the channel to realize it. Itwould not only make up for the extremes of feminist translation, but also be good to promoteits development. What’s more, this thesis may influence the training of translators. In addition,the inter-subjective perspective would be good for establishing a harmonious relationshipbetween translator and other subjects, as well as enhancing the translator’s self consciousnessand gender awareness.

　　
　　1.3 Layout of the Thesis论文结构
　　This thesis consists of three chapters in addition to an introduction and a conclusion. Theintroduction gives the background to this study, the significance of the study and layout of thethesis. The author believes that and it is possible and necessary to conduct this research.Chapter two is a review of previous researches on translation inter-subjectivity. First, itpresents the overview of philosophical inter-subjectivity to give a theoretical foundation forthis study. Then it gives a brief review of the study of translation inter-subjectivity. Chapterthree will explore the mechanism of inter-subjectivity in feminist translation. It starts withdefining the subjects in feminist translation and argues that the subjects are the author, thetranslator, the reader, and the text which are all influenced by the social and cultural contextand the feminist ideology. After that this chapter it reveals how to realize inter-subjectivity infeminist translation. Chapter four is a case study in point to further explain the theoriesdiscussed above.Chapter five is the conclusion part. It briefly summarizes what has been discussed in theprevious chapters and points out the limitations of the thesis.
