Thoughtranslation studies are under a broader context now, few researchers studied thetranslational action and its process.So this thesis is devoted to studying the scrambled translation of Harry Potter andthe Order of the Phoenix with the help of Translational Action Theory. The process ofits scrambled translation will be analyzed roundly to illustrate that translation is acooperative and intercultural activity and every participant will have an influence onthe final translation.

0.2 Research Objectives研究目标
本文旨在研究英汉炒翻译的《哈利·波特与凤凰社》、炒翻译是最常见的现象在今天的翻译领域,然而,作品翻译苦是由读者和专家质疑This paper aims at studying the English-Chinese scrambled translation of HarryPotter and the Order of the Phoenix,Scrambled translation is the most common phenomenon in today's translation field,however, the works translated with a rash are questioned by readers and professionals.They criticize their translation quality. There are many mistakes in the translation.And some translated works are confusing and obscure. Then what are theembodiments of works translated with a rush? This question is important, because ifwe say something is bad, first, we have to find out what its weaknesses are, and thenwe can take the correct actions to solve the problem. Therefore, only if we find outthe concrete manifestations of works translated with a rush can we know their meritsand demerits and further improve them. Generally the translated work is supposed tobe the translator's own business, so the decline of the translation quality is onlyblamed on the translator. However, it is not the fact. We have to study the translationprocess so that the deep reasons beneath the surface of poor translation can beexplored and the problem of translation quality can be solved fundamentally.Therefore, the research questions of this thesis are the following:(1) How do the participants involved in the process of the scrambled translation ofHarry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix affect the final translation?(2) What are the manifestations of the scrambled translation of Harry Potter andthe Order of the Phoenix?The questions will be answered by employing Justa Holz-Manttari's TranslationalAction Theory, absorbing concepts like translational action and participants in theinvestigation of the scrambled translation of Harry Potter and the Order of thePhoenix.

In the translation history of China, there are many translation masters, like ZhuShenghao, Yang Xianyi， Ji Xianlin, who have offered us lots of high qualifiedtranslation works and made indelible contribution to the cause of translation in China.Both their insightful thoughts on translation and their achievements in translationpractice play important roles in the construction of Chinese translation studies, whichare worthy of studying. And it is indeed what most of translation researchers do,because we can learn from the best and absorb their quintessence. At the same time,scrambled translation also has a great research ue and cannot be overlooked.
