[摘要] 本文探讨使用现代教育技术改进翻译教学 ,提高翻译质量的各种具体办法。作者使用2007年八级考试汉译英部分作为语料 ,分析如何在网上搜寻多种参考译文 ,取长补短 ,以便提高自己的译文质量;如何使用电脑 WORD中的同义词库搜寻同义词和相关词汇;如何使用 G oogle调查词组、搭配是否地道常用 ,某些语法结构是否正确、常用。本文还使用网络电脑技术对翻译专业资格考试英译文提出修改意见。
　　近两年 ,笔者试点在数字化多媒体教室开设翻译课 ,摸索了利用网络电脑功能改进翻译教学的经验。我们组织学生开发利用 G oogle和电脑 WORD的各种功能:
   (1) 搜寻多种参考译文 ,对比不同译文 ,取长补短 ,发展批判性思维 ,以便提高自己的译文质量。
   (2) 寻找网上有关译文的评论 ,进一步发展学生的鉴赏能力和批判性思维。
   (3) 利用电脑WORD功能 ,搜寻同义词 ,选择适合有关语境的高雅词汇 ,提高文学翻译的质量。
   (4) 利用 G oogle ,查询词组搭配的频率 ,以确定其正确性和地道程度。(5) 利用 G oogle 确定语法结构的正确性或常用程度。鉴于非重点大学学生的语言基本功不足 ,师资能力有限 ,大力开发现代教育技术 ,不失为一种有效的补偿办法。现以我们关于2007年八级考试汉译英的教学为例加以说明。原汉语如下:(暮色中 ,河湾里落满云霞 ,与天际的颜色混合在一起 ,分不清哪是流云哪是水湾。 )也就在这一幅绚烂的图画旁边 ,在河湾之畔 ,一群羊正在低头觅食。它们几乎没有一个顾得上抬起头来 ,看一眼这美丽的黄昏。也许它们要抓紧时间 ,在即将回家的最后一刻再次咀嚼。这是黄河滩上的一幕。牧羊人不见了 ,他不知在何处歇息。只有这些生灵自由自在地享受着这个黄本论文由英语论文网 www.51lunwen.org整理提供昏。这儿水草肥美 ,让它们长得肥滚滚的。如果走近了 ,你会发现它们洁白的牙齿 ,以及那丰富而单纯的表情。(笔者添加了下划线 ,供下文分析用。 )
   1　利用网络搜索各种译文,供学生分析、借鉴、改进首先 ,学生在自己动手翻译之前 ,可以上网搜寻到以下各种参考译文。检索办法:键入原文中有鲜明特色的词语 ,如 “河湾里落满云霞” ,以及部分可能的英文 ,如 cloud。若键入没有特色的词语 ,如 “暮色中” ,G oogle 中出现的项目会太多 ,不便寻找。加入英文单词 ,便于使英译文在 G oogle 中尽早出现。由于有些人喜欢在自己的博客中发表译文 ,如果先输入 “博客” 两字 ,也有利于查找。我们查找到了多种译文 ,有些本文不需分析的译文不列入 ,现仅列入以下三种译文:网上译文1 (笔者修改了个别不值得评论的明显笔误) :Beside this picture with profusions of colors ,a group of sheepare lowing their heads ,eating by the river bank.
