Conclusion


In spite of the contributions of this paper to the study on the fossilization and SLA,there are also some limitations out of the investigator and the technology.After all, the author of this study is still a foreign language learner and with nearlythe same L2 acquisition background as the subjects. Therefore, the author may sufferthe English language fossilization by the same token. Fossilized errors are those theauthor is capable of recognizing, and it is possible that the identified errors are notfull-scale. In the next place, the suggested strategies for relieving fossilization and thecauses of fossilization are of group trait. Because over 80 percent of the subjects comefrom Jiangxi province, and their high school education modes are extremely similar.Regional factor is out of the reach of this study. In addition, this study concerns onlythe written fossilized errors. The causes and the strategies of English languagefossilization are limited to the errors of the written text; other types of the fossilizederrors are not taken into consideration, such as oral fossilization.
