摘要:本文是一篇高中英语教学论文,笔者认为对于英语这门外语来说,要让学生提高对语言的理解能力,掌握其特定的应用场合,保证口语交流的有效性,就需要给学生提供生动直观与形象的语境,激发学生口语表达的欲望,增强学生的交际能力,提高学生的语言理解能力和运用技巧。
Chapter 5 Findings and Conclusions
5.1 Major Findings
From the results of the questionnaire,compared with the traditional English teachingmethod of“learning from words-making to sentences-writing compositions”,which is taughtby teachers step by step,situational teaching method can better reflect“teaching as the leadand learning as the subject.”
Firstly,One of the assumptions tested in this research is that situational English teachingapproaches may stimulate students’interests in studying English.Teachers can createdifferent situations according to different teaching content in each class.At the same time,itis similar to the situation of daily life and it is presented in a novel way to fully mobilizestudents’learning enthusiasm and emotional resonance,so that students can play theirsubjective initiative and voluntarily participate in situational teaching activities.Students canbe personally on the scene and experience the perceptual,visible,tangible knowledge content,so as to bring up their own learning interest.Secondly,in the experimental class teachingprocess,through the creation of the connotation of the situation in different parts of the class,effectively triggered the students’thinking and then in the case of the correspondingvocabulary,pronunciation and grammar and improved the oral expression of fluency,accuracy and complexity.Lastly,Situation creation is based on the subject characteristics,closely linked to the teaching content to a large extent and touched the students’emotions andwill,so that students can find the meaning and value of knowledge in real life.Let thestudents feel that the knowledge learned in this class is not only written knowledge but alsocan be used in the real situation,communication and expression so as to encouragethemselves to maximize the acceptance of knowledge and self-expression.Results fromscientific research methodologies show that the study assumptions are valid after the use ofsituational teaching in voluntary school English classes.
