本文是一篇商务英语翻译论文，笔者希望能加深自己对口译的整个流程的掌握，并在模拟实践结束后对整个模拟进行分析，找出在口译过程中所遇到的问题及难点，并结合达妮卡·赛莱丝科维奇创立的法国释意理论对这些问题进行分析，提出并探讨相对应的解决方案，从而在以后的口译过程中提高口译质量。

Chapter One Interpretation Process

1.1 Pre-Interpreting Preparation

Whether it is consecutive interpreting or simultaneous interpreting, interpreting work is characterized by its oral expression, the existence of counteractivity and immediacy, and even more so by the randomness of the speaker’s speech, the presence of unpredictability and independence, as well as the wide range and diversity of the speech content. Besides, the difference between Chinese and Western cultures, the difference between English and Chinese expressions, the serious atmosphere of the conference site, and other factors have caused tremendous psychological pressure and mental burden to the interpreters. Therefore, it is imperative to prepare well for the interpreting task. With the help of pre-interpretation preparation, the interpreter can understand a series of specialized terms that may appear in the interpretation task, prepare in advance, and ultimately help the interpreter perform better in the interpretation process. 

1.1.1 Material Preparation

Interpretation is a comprehensive ability in which the interpreter not only needs to translate the simple intralinguistic meaning of the source language but also to convey the extra-linguistic meaning, discourse style, cultural characteristics, background information, and so on contained in the message. However, in accomplishing this interlanguage conversion, the interpreters often find that they lack understanding of some specialized terms and proper nouns and do not know how they are expressed in another language. These unfamiliar terms often lead to the failure of interpreting. Secondly, the interpreter’s lack of understanding of the content of the speech in the source language and unfamiliarity with the theme of the meeting is often an essential reason for the poor quality of the interpretation and the failure of the interpreting work. Therefore, before carrying out interpretation tasks, interpreters must conduct a complete search and organize relevant information to avoid misunderstanding and misinterpretation due to a lack of professional knowledge. 

1.2 While-Interpreting Process

In this subsection, the author will carefully discuss the practical process of this interpretation simulation and the author’s psychological changes throughout the process. The process of consecutive interpreting means that the interpreter needs to interpret the gap between the speaker’s statements and so on to complete the whole interpreting process. The basic process of interpreting is input, interpretation, and output. This process means the interpretation starts from the perception of information, goes through information processing and processing, and then expresses the new information. It can also be broken down specifically according to the interpretive theory as comprehension, deverbalization, and reformulation in the target language.

1.2.1 Comprehension
