本文是一篇英语教育毕业论文,本文以“课程思政在初中英语听说课教学中的融入现状研究”为题,以洛阳市X中学初二年级235名学生和6位英语教师为研究对象。运用定性、定量相结合的研究方法以及调查问卷、访谈、课堂观察量表等研究工具,从学生和教师两个维度展开调查研究。

Chapter 1 Introduction

1.1 Background of The Research

1.1.1 The New Era Has Set Stricter Standards and Loftier Goals for the CIP

Since 2004,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC)hasissued a series of policies and documents aimed at enhancing and improving theideological and moral construction of minors political Education.The ideological statusof minors is directly related to the overall quality of the Chinese nation and is related tothe future of the country and the destiny of the nation.Teachers should teach in a livelyway that minors are willing to accept and combine imparting knowledge withcultivating sentiment and developing good behavior habits.

With the development of educational reform,the new era has set stricter standardsand loftier goals for the CIP.This view has been reflected in many academic researchesand policy documents.For example,according to the Outline for the Implementation ofPatriotic Education in the New Era(2019),ideological and political education in thenew era is described as“adhere to the ideology of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era as its guide,successfully implement the education policy of the Party,with an emphasis on building ethical behaviors and cultivating socialist constructors andsuccessors with comprehensive development in morality,intelligence,physical fitness,aesthetics and labor”.

1.2 Significance of the Research

The fundamental task of education is to establish morality and nurture people.It isof great significance to integrate Curriculum Ideology and Politics education intoEnglish listening and speaking teaching to cultivate students with international vision,firm cultural confidence,good moral quality and social responsibility.By integratingideological and political elements into the English listening and speaking teaching,students can enhance their understanding and identification of Chinese culture,andcultivate national awareness and cultural confidence.

1.2.1 Theoretical Significance

Currently,the research on“Curriculum Ideology and Politics”is a hot topic inresponse to the strategic requirements of the country to establish morality and cultivatepeople.The transition from the initial Ideological and Political Courses to theCurriculum Ideology and Politics,it reflects the gradual deepening of the country’semphasis on ideological and political education.The CIP is not only an educationalconcept but also a new view of the curriculum,promoting the connotative developmentof various disciplines and constructing a curriculum and teaching system that educatespeople in all aspects.Because of its instrumental and humanistic characteristics,theEnglish listening and speaking classes has become an important platform forimplementing Curriculum Ideology and Politics.
