摘要:本文是一篇小学英语教学论文,本研究以支架理论、双重编码理论和戴尔的经验之塔理论为理论基础,尝试将知识可视化工具运用于小学英语阅读教学中,旨在解决以下三个问题:第一,知识可视化工具对学生的英语阅读兴趣有什么样的影响?第二,知识可视化工具对学生的英语阅读方法有什么样的影响?第三,知识可视化工具对学生的英语阅读能力有什么样的影响?

本文是一篇小学英语教学论文,本文总结了研究成果,分析了研究中的不足:研究时间太短,学生利用知识可视化工具进行英语阅读的习惯尚未能完全养成。在接下来的实践中,笔者将继续进行更深入的研究,以期更好的将知识可视化工具运用于小学英语阅读教学实践。

Chapter 1 Introduction

1.1 Background of the Study

In 2022,the Ministry of Education revised the English curriculum standards forcompulsory education.The new curriculum standards provide a further explanation of thecore competence of the English language discipline,requiring teachers to attach importance tocultivating students’English language and learning abilities.This helps students enhancecultural awareness,develop cross-cultural communication and skills,help students masterscientific learning methods,and develop good lifelong learning habits.The new curriculumstandard provides a detailed explanation of the specific objectives of each learning stage.Inthe language ability learning stage objectives,it is clearly stated that students at Level 1(Grades 3-4)should be able to read simple language stories and understand basic informationthrough pictures.Level 2(Grades 5-6)students are able to read simple phrases in simplelanguage and related topics,obtain specific information,and understand the main content.Inthe goal of thinking quality,Level 2 students are required to be able to identify,refine,andsummarize the main information,main content,thematic significance,and perspectives of atext.Text is a linguistic unit that expresses meaning and is a common form of language usedby people.As a major component of English learning,the above requirements demonstrate the emphasis and importance that the new curriculum standards place on text teaching.

In current reading teaching,some teachers have misconceptions about the value,purpose,and process of English reading teaching.They view the purpose of reading as simply to obtaininformation.Therefore,teachers only focus on the training of students’reading skills,such asoveremphasizing the speed of reading,repeatedly training students to master the main idea,orasking students to answer questions.This leads to students’understanding of the textremaining at the lexical level,without a process of induction,summary,and reflection,andreading teaching is a mere formality.This violates the cognitive development laws of studentsand the requirements of the new curriculum for English text learning.Therefore,how toachieve effective teaching of textual knowledge is a problem that we,as teachers need。

1.2 Purpose of the Study

The purpose of this article is to explore a teaching model of English reading suitable forprimary school students based on knowledge visualization tools,stimulate students’interest inEnglish learning,and construct a student centered classroom.According to knowledgevisualization tools,students can quickly understand and grasp the main idea of the article,construct their own knowledge network based on knowledge visualization tools,andeffectively retell.At the same time,it cultivates students’ability to think independently and diverge,helps them master good reading strategies and methods,forms a positive emotionalattitude,gradually develops a correct outlook on life and values,and lays a good foundationfor future learning.
