les convey the emotional state of a person to others. Facialexpression is part of nonverbal communication. It appears not only on human faces, but also in other animals. In Ekman’s research, he found that animals and humanbeings would express the similar facial expression when they wanted to express oneemotion (Ekman, 2014). For example, people would always show their teeth toenemies when they were angry. Same facial expression would appear on animals’faces like lions, tigers, dogs, and so on. Facial expression is a combination of manydifferent facial signals, to some extent, these facial signals are kind like road signs, when someone drives on the high way and want to find a place to have a rest, oneshould look for some blue or green signs which may indicate the Rest Area. If aperson wanted to get the correct information from the facial part, one should focus onthe type of signals.

2.2 Previous Studies on Facial Expressions
As a consultant of the FBI, American psychologist Joe Navarro did a lot of workon facial expression. By comparison and analysis of suspects’ facial movement,Navarro can identify whether he or she was telling the truth. For example, a personwould lean the head to one shoulder only when he or she felt relaxed and comfortable, while a person was nervous, the neck was always straight and stuff. In his book What Everybody is Saying, Joe (2010) made “Ten Principles” to helppeople understand body language. These ten principles are some basic guidance forpeople to get familiar with the body language. Principle one, to be a qualifiedobserver, one should be careful with all information that can be traced, whether it issound, smell or body movements. Principle two, to know the specific environment, one can get more accurate information if he or she knows the current environment.Principle three, to master the general nonverbal behaviors, in most cases, peoplewould show up the same actions when they need to express one emotion, so it is important to know the basic reactions of facial expressions to different emotions.Principle four, to know specific facial movements of different persons, people ofdifferent jobs may have their unique body habits, so it is necessary to know the basichabits of different jobs. Principle five, when communicating with someone, oneshould try to get his or her regular movements to create a base line for the unique one,it would help you master the person’s emotions better.
