4.1 Current Status of TCCIE of College English Teachers
The dimensions of TCCIE of college English teachers are shown in Table 4-1.
In order to determine the current situation of college English teachers,descriptive statistical analysis are formed.According to Table 4-1,the overall meanvalue of the questionnaire is 4.15,and the standard deviation is 0.54,indicating thatthe current overall situation of TCCIE of college English teachers in this study isgenerally good.This result is consistent with the research of Wang et al.(2021),though the subjects were not exactly the same.

5.1 Major Findings
Through the above analysis,it is found that the overall situation of TCCIE ofcollege English teachers in this study is good.The mean value of the first leveldimensions shows that participants’professional knowledge and subjective cognitionare relatively sound,while their skills of CIE need to be further improved.The meanvalue of the secondary dimensions reveals that college English teachers in this studyare very clear about the importance of CIE.They understand that building positiveemotional connections with students helps to promote their learning and growth.Besides,they also know how to teach students in a way that stimulates students’interest.However,the participants in this study lack the ability to integrate historicaland cultural knowledge,pedagogical knowledge,and knowledge of China’scontemporary development status into the teaching process.They have difficultiesimplementing CIE in class.
The TCCIE of these participants is significantly different in terms of gender,type,age,teaching experience,and title.
