And it is an important carrier to carry Chinese culture, reflecting Chinese characteristics, and establishing Chinese confidence in the new era. Therefore, it is important to protect and inherit the dialect.

The diversity of Chinese dialects in China is reflected in three aspects: diversity, great difference, and rich culture. In recent years, with the rapid economic development and urbanization process, natural villages have been reduced and the environment for dialects to live has been destroyed, causing the number of people who use dialects decreasing rapidly. Many minority languages are dying out rapidly with the aging of ethnic groups. In recent years, the extinction of dialect has presented a new mode of intergenerational extinction, also called intergenerational replacement or intergenerational switching (Cao, 2016), that is, the parents use dialect, while the children completely use Putonghua. Without transition or buffer, dialects are completely covered by Mandarin. In addition to the destruction of the living environment of dialect, there are also misunderstandings in the cognition of dialect speech. It is the preservation of ancient sounds, cultural accumulation, and unrecoverable historical memory (Qiao, 2016).
