摘要:本文是一篇有关把创新思维方法运用于英语写作的英语论文范文。英语写作是一项很重要的技能。The objective of this research is to explore the effectiveness of creative thinkingstrategies in process writing。

These findings were welcomed by thewriting teachers that were dissatisfied with the product approach which looked atstudent writing as a final product, thus, gave birth to process writing, whichconsidered the writing as a process of learning to discover ideas and to compose.Grace proposed process model, which may consists of brainstorming, planning,drafting, peer-conferencing, peer-editing (Grace, 1978, p.79). And teachers play therole of assisting the students to understand and internalize a complete process ofcomposing.A professional writer and also a famous teacher of writing, Donald Murray,pointed out that the importance of drafts in the process of writing based on his ownteaching experience (Donald Murray , 1980, p.107). Flower and Hayes constructed amodel of the writing process which includes: planning, writing and revising (Flowerand Hayes, 1981, p.164). Besides, all these processes were interactive and recursive.And afterwards Zamel and Raimes also investigated the writing behaviors, differentfrom the former researchers, they paid much attention on how the writers generatetheir ideas, record and refine these ideas to form a satisfied text (Zamel & Raimes,1991, p.99).

2.2 Creative Thinking in EFL Writing
“Creative” refers to the ability to produce new and original ideas or things inLongman contemporary English Chinese dictionary. The newness of thought is muchemphasized. (p.322). In other words, to be a creative person, one could apply his/herimagination to finding a solution, rather than simply apply a pre-given formula.Creative thinking tends to be characterized by having a drive to find the very bestsolution. So with a slightly dissatisfaction, one will continually think over and lookfor a better, an effective or more elegant solution, or an element of perfectionism willencourage the creative process. Generally speaking, creative thinking can beunderstood from two levels of thought processes. In the first process, three aspects ofhuman thought are used. The first one is strategy. It refers to the methodology infinding information or solving problems. The second one can be understood as the useof our existing knowledge. That is to say, the recalling if one’s afore acquiredinformation that is related to the present needs. The last one is the individual’spersonality and attitude, these are the unique factors that one person owns contribute alot to their creativity.In the second process, not only the first process is used, butdivergent/convergent thinking is also used, and plays an important role in promotingcreative process. Divergent thinking means listing all the possible choices one couldimagine. Convergent thinking is used to estimate the reason why you choose one ideaover another, besides, it will certainly narrow down all the possible choices and leadsto one best solution.
