本文是一篇英语阅读论文,本论文采用了实验研究法,对实验班和对照班进行了为期16周的教学实验。实验班通过创设生态型阅读教学环境、构建和谐共生的主体关系、丰富和拓展学习内容、采用多元化的评价体系等实施生态课堂教学模式;对照班采用传统的阅读教学模式进行阅读教学。
Chapter 1 Introduction
1.1 Research Background
English has become an important tool for communication and interaction amongpeople around the world with the continuous development of globalization.In ourcountry,English Education has penetrated into all levels of school education,English teaching has become one of the compulsory courses for students in the highschool stage.Compared with junior middle school,the difficulty of English in seniorhigh school has increased greatly,especially in English reading,such as the difficultyand the length of articles.However,the traditional English teaching model attachimportance to the training of grammar,vocabulary and reading comprehension,andneglects the cultivation of students’understanding of English cultural backgroundknowledge and practical application ability.In the traditional high school Englishreading teaching classroom,teachers play a dominant role in the teaching process,students’personality is suppressed,and their learning needs are not paid attention tofor a long time,which makes the relationship not harmonious,and English readingteaching as a whole presents a dull and boring state,and finally the participation ofstudents is not high,and the teaching effect is not ideal.In view of this reality,high school English teachers should actively broaden their teaching horizons,explore moreadvanced teaching concepts and more diversified teaching methods.In teaching,theyshould not only respect students’learning subjectivity,but also understand students’personalized learning needs,organically combine the concept of ecological classroomwith teaching,and fully mobilize students’reading enthusiasm.It creates a goodlearning atmosphere for students’English reading learning and lays a good foundationfor their subsequent English learning.
1.2 Research Purposes
With the increasing maturity of foreign language teaching,the deficiencies intraditional English reading teaching are becoming more and more obvious.Due to theheavy task of reading teaching in senior high school,the traditional English readingteaching mainly adopts the method of filling and mechanical teaching,which leads tomany difficulties and problems in students’English reading learning.In view of thisphenomenon,the research wants to explore a new reading teaching model to meet thedevelopment requirements of modern English reading teaching.
This paper adopts the experimental research method,on the basis of exploringand summarizing the four basic principles of ecology of education,combining withthe curriculum standards,teaching syllabus and textbooks of senior high school,thispaper aims to verify whether the application of ecological English reading classroommodel is feasible,and whether it can effectively improve students’readingachievement and reading interest,which builds a new type of ecological Englishreading classroom of senior high school.
