4.1 The Types of TSs in Digital Communication
This section discusses the types of TSs of netizens' posts collected. The results indicated that TSs in digital communication are realized by a relatively large number of strategies (see Table 2). According to the classification of TSs by Li (2018), and Ren and Guo (2022), some modifications were made according to the actual situation, where a sub-strategy of link in multi-modal resources and a sub-strategy of kaomoji in multi-semiotic resources was added.
4.1.1 Multi-modal Resources
According to the code and checking the 462 posts, another category was added to the original four categories of multi-modal resources (Ren & Guo, 2022), so it had become five categories: photos, emojis, image macro, videos, and links. As shown in Table 2, multi-modal resources photos (29.00%) and emojis (26.62%) were the most frequently used TSs on social media in digital communication, compared with image macro (4.11%), videos (3.90%), and web links (7.36%).

5.1 Major Findings
According to Li's translanguaging and moment analysis, this study examined the effects of TSs in digital communication. The research platforms adopted Weibo and WeChat, two popular social networking in China, and mixed methods to collect relevant qualitative and quantitative data through online questionnaires, post-observation, and semi-structured interviews. At the same time, the relevant data were presented and discussed in Chapter 4 to answer the three research questions of this study, which were about the types of TSs in digital communication, the actual effects of such strategies in digital communication, and the motivations of netizens using such strategies in digital communication and finally Section 4.5 summarized the three research questions.
