摘要:本文是一篇英语教学法论文,本研究以互动协同模型、输入假说和输出假说为理论基础,采用25个词汇复杂度指标(Lu,2010)和23个句法复杂度指标(Lu,2010),探究高中生在读后续写任务中的语言协同情况。

Effects

The lexical complexity alignment between the continuations and the pre-readingmaterial is analyzed through SPSS 26.0 as well as AntConc 3.2.2.The results are presentedin detail in Table 4-1 and Table 4-2 below.Table 4-1 shows the descriptive statistics oflexical complexity indices of the pre-reading material,which is used to compare with thecontinuations.

Chapter Five Conclusion

5.1 Major Findings

The participants of this study were 360 students in the second year of high school,andthe corpus selected was the continuation text of a large centralized examination in thatschool.Most of the previous studies used only one or a few indices,while the present studyselected richer indices of lexical complexity and syntactic complexity.Meanwhile,in orderto better explore the learning-promoting effect of CT and students’writing alignment,thisstudy used a combination of quantitative research and semi-structured interviews in anattempt to understand students from various aspects.By discussing and analyzing theresearch data,the main findings of this study were carefully summarized.The mainfindings of the study are listed below.

Firstly,this study reveals the existence of text complexity alignment.The alignment atthe specific levels of language(words and sentences)can spread to the abstract level oftext features(complexity of the text),that is,the text features of the pre-reading materialwill affect the text features of the continuations.This study has found that there isalignment in syntactic complexity between pre-reading material and continuations,but thelexical complexity of pre-reading material has almost no alignment effect on the lexicalcomplexity of continuations.Students focused more on the plot of the story,the main ideaof the story,and the description of the characters when they write in CT.Meanwhile,theyconsidered vocabulary and syntax important but less important than the former.Under thepressure of intense writing,it is difficult to recite template sentences,so they tend to usesentences from the input text especially subordinate clauses and parallel sentences.
