摘要:本文是英语论文范文,本次研究结果显示:理工科学生的语言学习动机对其学习策略的使用有着较大程度影响。内在兴趣动机对记忆策略,认知策略,元认知策略,情感策略和社会策略使用的影响最大且持内在兴趣动机的理工科学生多偏向于使用元认知策略和认知策略。
As the findings of this research have shown, some science students are not good at using language learning strategies to improve their learning efficiency. Thus, it is necessary to train students in this respect. As the old saying goes, “give me a fish, you feed me a day; show me how to fish, you feed me for a lifetime.” Training students how to use learning strategies is important, which can help them improve their learning efficiency and broaden their learning styles. Before strategy training, teachers should help students to realize the importance of strategy use. The six learning strategies mentioned in the previous chapters all need to be trained, especially affective strategy and social strategy. As table 3.5 has shown, affective strategy and social strategy are not used often by science students. Teachers should create a friendly class atmosphere, encourage students to speak out in class or even organize students to practice their oral speaking skills once a week. One thing teachers should not forget is that they should not correct all the mistakes students have made immediately and teachers should keep on encouraging students to use English to communicate with others. Besides, memory strategy should be trained. Teachers should help students use different techniques to remember new words, which can make the tough task become an interesting work. As for students’ use of compensation strategy, cognitive strategy and metacognitive strategy, there is still some space for improvement. Teachers can help students to make a plan, manage their time properly and so forth.
