The way of evaluation is a way to check learners’ learning result and a guide to provide learners a direction. With  the  development  of  economic  globalization  and  international  accession, China  has  brought  a  wide  range  of  international  exchange  and  cooperation,  which promotes  the  society's  growing  demand  for  high-quality  foreign  language  talents,  to provide  a  good  opportunity  for  higher  vocational  tourism  English  teaching(Zhang Guihua,2013:1-2).  A  large  quantity  of  higher  vocational  colleges  are  exploring  the training  mode  and  curriculum  system  to  suit  for  the  college  demands.  Some  basic factors,  such  as  curriculum  development,  practical  base  construction,  teaching  mode and  teaching  evaluation  have  become  the  main  contents  of  the  curriculum  reform  in vocational  colleges.  In  this  paper,  after  analyzing  the  data  statistics  of  the  number  of domestic tourism, inbound tourism, outbound tourism and some questionnaire survey.

Conclusion 

The  study  is  carried  out  to  evaluate  three  Tourism  English  materials  used  in Harbin  Commercial  University,  adopting  three  ways  of  evaluating  materials.  A self-designed  investigation  was  employed  to  examine  the  present  situation  of  ESP materials and the attitudes of learners and teachers towards the tourism materials. After analyzing the results of the investigation, the author compared the learners’ needs with the  requirements  of  the  subject-based  English  in  the  College  English  Teaching Syllabus(the revised edition), then analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the set of  Tourism  English  materials  and  basing  on  these  discussions  putting  forward  some relevant  suggestions  about  compiling,  selecting  and  using  the  materials.  These suggestions  put  forward  in  this  thesis  have  been  checked  after  the  research.  After finishing the paper, the author introduced the suggestions to the teachers from Harbin University  of  Commerce,  who  have  participated  in  the  research  interview.  Most  of them  all  state  that  the  suggestions  about  compiling,  selecting  and  adopting  materials are  quite  suit  for  the  Tourism  English  materials  con本论文由英语论文网提供整理，提供论文代写，英语论文代写，代写论文，代写英语论文，代写留学生论文，代写英文论文，留学生论文代写相关核心关键词搜索。
