ng  the  meaning  of speaker,  effect  of  the  action  and  so  on  pragmatic  study  still  needs  to  pay  more attention  to  speaker  (Yule,  1996;  Chen  Xinren,  2009b).  Speaker’s  identity  is  a common and ordinary social psychological phenomenon in communication which can not  be  avoided  in  any  languages.  Speaker  and  hearer  are  always  the  topic  for  the discussion of context theory (Yule, 1996; He Zhaoxiong, 2000). This study is hoped to prompt  a  further  research  on  the  field  of  speaker’s  identity.  Previous  studies  observe that  speakers  in  communication  use  different  ways  to  communicate  for  different communication  goals.  However  another  common  sense  is  easily  overlooked  that speakers still use different ways to communicate with the same person in a relatively stable context. We thought it is the reason that speaker uses different identities in the communication.  On  the  other  side  there  have  not  been  many  intensive  studies  of identity  on  the  basis  of  real  corpus.  This  study  is  hoped  to  make  the  remedy  of  the inadequacies.  Secondly,  based  on  the  theoretical  framework  of  Verschueren’s  Adaptation Theory  this  study  is  hoped  to  make  a  deeper  verification  of  the  explanation  of  this theory.  As  an  integral  theory  Verschueren’s  Adaptation  Theory  is  the  pragmatic perspective  which  is  composed  of  the  view  of  cognitive,  social  and  culture.  So  this theory  contributes  a  coherent  and  rational analytical  framework  (Jaffe,  2001).  But  to be a macro theory Adaptation Theory ignores the subjectivity and lacks of explanation (Yang  Ping,  2001).  In  addition  dynamic  research  is  the  core  of  Adaptation  Theory which should consider the contextual constrains and language structure including the dimension of time and space (Verschueren, 2000, p.147). On the progress the analysis this  study  is  hoped  to  overcome  the  inadequacy  of  the  Adaptation  Theory  so  as  to make  an  argument  that  dynamic  construction  of  pragmatic  identity  is  possible  in theory.  Most  of  all  this  study  is  on  purpose  to  make  a  further  research  on communicative needs through the perspective of Adaptation Theory.
