This chapter is the  core  of  this  thesis.  In  this  chapter,  method  of  case  study  will  be  mainly  adopted  in  the process of the analysis of meaning construction of Spring Festival couplets.   

4.1 Conceptual blending for Spring festival couplets

So the following parts are the cognitive steps of Spring Festival couplets being understood in the framework of Conceptual  Blending  Theory.  The  author  hopes  that  through  the  analysis  of  some  Spring Festival  couplets  under  Conceptual  Blending  Theory,  the  meaning  generation  and development process of it can help readers to better understand.
