摘要:In the thesis, the author tries to make study of classical Chinese poetry translation from the perspective of fuzzy aesthetics, which is a new perspective of study for literary translation. While emphasizing the importance of transferring fuzzy aesthetics, transfer original aesthetics one hundred percent is simply impossible in many cases.

The goal of this understanding is not to find out its essence or
intrinsic qualities, but to reinforce aesthetics feelings. So
understanding is an ambiguous phenomenon.
In a word from the perspective of psychological mechanism of aesthetics
conduct, we may see that aesthetics conduct is an activity with an
immanent property of fuzziness. In the next part of this chapter, the
characteristics of fuzzy aesthetics will be expounded.
2.1.2 Definition and Characteristics of Fuzzy Aesthetics
As a kind of aesthetics, fuzzy aesthetics has its own characteristics.
They are uncertainty,totality,and inter-permeability.(王明居, 1998)
2.1.2.1 Uncertainty of Fuzzy Aesthetics
Uncertainty is an intrinsic characteristic of fuzzy aesthetics.
Uncertainty and certainty, as the dichotomous pair, are produced during
the process of aesthetics conduct. Certainty is transient while
uncertainty is permanent.
Uncertainty of fuzzy aesthetics refers to the vagueness of aesthetics,
which is produced because of its mobile and changing attributes. Without
mobility, there will be no aesthetics. In music, perfect accord will
give us a sense of tranquility, while some uncertain musical
notes
followed by other definite notes can also express glamorous force of
aesthetics. In painting, great artists make good use of uncertainty to
express their complicated feelings. The famous painting Mona Lisa gives
us a deep impression as the mysterious smile can be perceived and
interpreted in different ways and the meaning of her smile is ambiguous.
Different person, when enjoying this painting, will find his own
interpretation of the smile. The ambiguity is where the charm of her
smile and the value of this painting lie. (傅雷, 1998)
2.1.2.2 Totality of Fuzzy Aesthetics
We abide by the gestalt principle when we are appreciating a work of
art. Gestalt principle means we pay more attention to the overall state
rather than the parts. Since details are ignored, a sense of totality is
formed. Totality manifests the aesthetics of fuzziness because the
vagueness, ambiguity are produced by the lack of clear and concrete
details.
