摘要:本文是初中英语教学论文,通过对本实验所收集的资料和数据进行分析,笔者发现,过程写作法确实能够提高初中生的英语写作兴趣和动机,并且有助于提高他们的英语写作水平。在某种程度上可以说,过程写作法是提高初中生英语写作能力的好方法。
The process writing approach is an interactive writing method. It aims at training students to take part in authentic communicative activities and express their minds to other people through writing. When students are writing, they need to design the content and take the writing purpose into consideration. Process writing approach was put forward firstly by Wallace Douglas, an American professor in Northwestern University in 1970s aimed at the shortcomings of product writing approach. He pointed out that writing was a process and teachers should tell them the operational method step by step. At first, the approach was applied to mother language teaching. Advocated by American scholars Raimes and Zamel, the process writing approach was applied to teaching practice in classroom. During 1980s to 1990s, in the field of western language and teaching, the process writing approach was proved to be a novel method which had obvious effect on improving the quality of writing teaching. Jensen (1993) argued that the key of writing was confidence. Delpit (1996) studied the effectiveness of process writing approach by taking African students as research subjects and proved it was the best way to teach writing. The process writing approach promotes students’ confidence and allows everyone to become a writer.
