摘要:小学英语课堂上,学生的生理和心理的发展决定了我们的基础教育阶段的英语教育水平,决定了小学和中学的学生在上英语课的高频率特性,广泛覆盖,因此,为了提高小学英语课堂的工作效率必须处理这个问题,找出小学课堂行为的有效方法。

So in my opinion, one teacher who masters the skills to deal with pupils’ problems behaviors in classcan deal with more classroom problems behaviors of students in higher grades.Moreover, with the globalization of English, the EFL teaching in primary school is playing a moreand more important role but there have been few studies on the EFL in primary school, let alone researchon problem behaviors in English Class.  The author is a green hand in teaching, and is eager to becomeexperienced quickly. Even though a good teacher is not trained in one day, other excellent teachers’experience can definitely shorten the time needed. And the author hopes that the findings of this researchcan offer new English teachers in primary school some practical methods to perform well in class controlas soon as possible.


  
  1.3 Research Objectives研究目的
  This study aims to look for some practical and effective methods for dealing with the pupils’ commonproblem behaviors in English class from the experienced teachers and even to optimize these methodsthrough finding out their deficiencies so the subjects of this study are not only from primary schools butfrom some professional English training institutions. So the first step is to investigate what are pupils’common problem behaviors in English class in teachers’ perspective. Then we can find out teachers’coping behaviors by the means of interview and classroom observation. And the most important thing is tolearn from English teachers’ experience of dealing with pupils’ common problem behaviors in Englishclass.


  
  1.4 An Overall Structure of the Thesis论文的总体结构
  The present thesis includes the following five chapters.Chapter One gives a brief introduction to the thesis, including the background, the motivation andobjectives of the study as well as the structure of the research. And Chapter Two illustrates some relatedconcepts of this research such as pupils’ problem behaviors in English class and teachers’ behaviors ofclassroom management, along with a state of previous research in the field concerned. Chapter Threecenters on the design of this research, around which the research questions, research objectives, researchmethods and research procedures are elaborated in detail. Then the results of the classroom observationand interview are presented in Chapter Four, which includes pupils’ common problem behaviors and theteachers’ coping methods in the observed English classes. Well, the advantages and disadvantages ofteachers’ coping methods for the pupils’ classroom problem behaviors are also briefly discussed in the endof this chapter. And Chapter Five is the conclusive part of the thesis, which describes the major findings ofthe study and reveals the limitations, brings out the implications for teaching practice, as well as come upthe recommendations for further research.
