摘要:本文是英语论文范文,本研究以某校大学英语学生的课堂多模态语篇为研究材料,开展定性与定量相结合的研究,通过观察法、调查法、作品分析法分析了学生多元识读能力意识及水平,并试图探讨学生群体内部的多元识读能力的特点及差异。
In this chapter, the results of survey s and product analysis are pres ented. Four research questions will be answered in this chapter, that is: (1) What is students’ awareness of multiliteracies? (2) Are students on different levels of multiliteracies? (3) What are students’common problems in producing multimodal texts? (4) What are the affecting factors in the differentiation of students’ multiteracies? The first question is mainly solved based on the resu lts of the su rveys, including “Multiliteracies Questionnaire” and the interv iew; the answ ers of the second and the third question mainly come from the results of product analysis with ELAN; and the last question is based on the explanation of the former three questions, with data support of the questionnaire. Given the descriptive nature of this study, the data analysis focuses on percentages, i.e., the number of students of various answers. Four dimensions are provided for students’ multiliteracies analysis, which is the m ain structure of this chapter. To analysis students’ multiliteracies, th eir process and product of multimodal discourse has to be discussed. The whole process is about using modes, including spoken language, hand move ment, head movement, gaze, facial expression, and tool. This doesn’t mean that the above six aspects are all modes used by students, but they are the m ost commonly used m odes according to classroo m observation. Here th e tool of Power Point deserves a separate analysis for two reasons. Fo r one thing, being a tool, Power Point is also a text; for another, Power Point text itself, as multimodal discourse, is ab out various usages of modes.
