They mainlyuse Mind Mapping to train staff, manage products, and make plans for their corporations.

2.2 Studies at Home
In China, on the contrary, studies on Mind Mapping haven’t been done until 21century.Researchers mainly focus on the following three aspects:Firstly, what is Mind Mapping? To solve this question, researchers have explored anddiscussed the origin, definition, nature, characters and theoretical foundation of MindMapping. For instance, in the view of Qi Wei (2005) and Pei Guanggang (2007), MindMapping is a “diagram”. It is both a visual “diagram” with a playback function, and a visualthinking “diagram” relative to abstract logic language. Zhao Guoqing and Lu Zhijian (2004) hold the idea that there are narrow sense and broad sense for Mind Mapping. The narrowsense for Mind Mapping doesn’t present the maker’s logical order, but the broad sense does.The broad sense is dialogic. It could express the maker’s thinking process by sequentialnumber.Secondly, what methods can be used to draw mind maps scientifically? Researchers haveconducted some introductory studies on how to use computer to draw mind maps rationally,and some softwares have been worked out. Mind Manager is a typical Mind Mappingsoftware. Many theses in China have introduced its application method, and demonstratedhow to use it to make teaching coursewares and design the system of Mind Mapping website.Thirdly, how could Mind Mapping be applied to education? Researchers have beenstudying how to apply Mind Mapping to teaching practice for a long time. With the help ofMind Mapping, they want to improve the quality of education and the management level ofknowledge etc.
