The objective of this project is to testify the factors which have magnificent influence on tourism industry in the scales of society, legal, economy, policy and technology. The ways in which international travel agencies have been affected by all of the factors over the past 10 years as well as the current situation of the tourism industry will be identified. This objective will be a great help in analysing the current situation of the tourism industry and also a director to the further development strategy.

Rationale for the choice of issue linked to the topic

SLEPT Analysis is selected as the rational of the project, which I have learnt in the courses of International HR Management and Business Culture and Strategy. It refers to socio -cultural, political, economic and environmental, legal and technological factors. SLETP Analysis can be identified as the first step of analysing the external environment of an organisation.

Justification for Choice of Businesses

In this investigation, China CYTS Tours Holding Limited (CYTS) and China International Travel Service Limited (CITS) were chosen as the surveyed subjects for both of them are influential in China's tourism industry and the whole tourism market. They are representative with long history, large scale, distinct business strategy and decent business culture.
