摘要:本文是高中英语教学论文,通过数据分析可得出结论,在初中使用思维导图辅助英语教学方法能够激发学生学习英语的兴趣和热情,提高学生阅读能力和策略,加强学生对关键信息的长时记忆,并且拓展学生的发散思维能力。
sp;of students' knowledge development. It is urgent for teachers and educational researchers to do something according to the current problems of English reading and teaching in junior high schools. The paper will show the significance of the research in theoretical aspects and the practical aspects. After analyzing the relevant literatures and the current situation of English reading and teaching, it is obvious that most of researches are just confined to the theoretical level, and most of researches are about vocabulary or writing learning and teaching. The author teaches English reading based on Mind Map about one term in Hong Wen junior high school. And from the data and results of two tests and the post-questionnaire, the author finds that students’ reading performance and their reading interests in the experimental class have been improved. Meantime, Mind Map also helps students read more quickly and happily. There are few empirical researches on the application of Mind Map in English reading teaching. Therefore, this research intends to apply a new method to English reading teaching and to cultivate students' reading habits. The students’ ages are about 13-16 in junior high school, so they prefer the game-like class activities to traditional teacher leading class mode. In the process of drawing the Mind Map, the colors, numbers, lines definitely are used, which can bring pleasure to students apart from stimulating their creativity and imagination. Comparing to the traditional teaching method, Mind Map can help teachers organize teaching activities more effectively with the application of colors and numbers. Besides, the students can construct meaningful relations between the new information and the knowledge they have learned before, which help them understand the materials better and more thoroughly. Because in this process, the previous knowledge can be taken as the background information that makes students retrieve useful and relevant information from memory to help them understand the new knowledge. The application of Mind Map can help students understand the structure and the main topic of reading material easily and quickly. As a matter of fact, the Mind Map
strategy is conducive to students' ability in radiant and logical thinking. The above is the practical significance of the research.
