1.2 Significance
Here  presents  the  research  significance  from  three  perspectives:  to  promote  linguistic descriptive research into incorporation with law science, which is in compliance with the nature of forensic linguistics; by approaching the language of programs and netizens’ comments (Gu Xiangju and Zhang Lili, 2015; Hu Xuelian, 2006) as a whole research subject and thus sheds lights  upon  linguistic  studies;  through  linguistic  analysis  and  legal  discussion,  the  research conclusion is of practical and theoretical value to guiding legal reporting and judicial publicity. Firstly, topics of programs or netizens’ comments have attracted researchers from circles of science of law (Studebaker, 1997; Ke Bin, 2013; Wei Yongzheng, 2014; Li Jun and Fan Dong, 2014; Shi Juhang, 2015; Yao Guangyi, 2011) and journalism (Yao Zejin and Zhang Yandong, 2009;  Zhang  Yufei,  2011),  however,  seldom  do  scholars  study  both  of  them  simultaneously, especially for researchers of forensic linguistics. Because communicative process includes the information provider and the receiver, thus, the author takes the attitude that the language of programs and netizens’ comments should be seen as an integral research object. Zhang Cunjian supports this point and believes that the information provider and the receiver should be analyzed  at  the  same  time  so  as  to  improve  the  interaction.  Moreover,  previous  forensic linguistic  studies  (Chang  Qiyun,  2013;  Huang  Xiaoying  and  Song  Jia,  2012;  Liu Yin,  2010) with respect to online language mainly put more emphases on linguistic dimension than on legal one.  The  author  agrees  that  it  is  necessary  to  conduct  linguistic  research  thoroughly  in  that rigorous  and  comprehensive  linguistic  analyses  lays  solid  foundations  for  conclusions  (Mou Lv-ye,  2011),  however,  scholars  of  forensic  linguistics  are  expected  to  make  still  further progress  in  providing  constructive  legal  suggestions.  Thus,  the  author  not  only  launches linguistic research on online language, but also offer tentative advice about judicial publicity. Therefore,  the  research  shall  present  a  new  angle  in  studies  on  the  tripartite  relationship  of media,  the  public  and  the  judicature  (Yang  Lixin,  2014;  Gong  Pixiang,  2012;  Wessel,  1964; Schwartzman, 2008).
