5.1 The Change of Students’Reading Motivation
Before the experiment,in order to understand the English reading motivation of the twoclasses,the researcher in this study conducted a questionnaire survey on the students in theexperimental and control classes.Among them were 38 students in the experimental class and38 students in the control class,76 questionnaires were issued in total,and all of them werefinally recovered and valid.SPSS22.0 tests the independent sample T-value of thequestionnaire survey results.The questionnaire analysis is mainly carried out from thefollowing three aspects.
Table 5.1 shows that before the experiment,there was no significant difference inEnglish reading motivation between the control class and the experimental class(t(74)=0.189,p>0.05).The difference between the means is 0.84 points on a 200-point test.
Chapter 6 Conclusion
6.1 Major Findings
In this study,the reading teaching experiment has been carried out on the students of twoclasses of Grade Two in a senior high school in Xinxing County,and good experimentalresults have been achieved.From the experimental results,we find that narrative approach hasoutstanding advantages over the traditional lecturing method combined with 3P teachingmethod,which is mainly reflected in the following three aspects.
(1)Narrative approach can improve students'English reading motivation.
Through the horizontal and vertical comparative analysis of the questionnaire data ofSenior High School English Reading Motivation before and after the experiment of theexperimental class and the control class,it is found that the English reading motivation of theexperimental class has changed a lot,specifically,significantly higher after the experiment.Meanwhile,students'reading motivation in the control class is not significantly different fromthat before the experiment,and even slightly decreased.Guided by narrative approach,theEnglish learning state of students in the experimental class changed a lot.Students becameincreasingly fond of English,and the atmosphe本论文由英语论文网提供整理,提供论文代写,英语论文代写,代写论文,代写英语论文,代写留学生论文,代写英文论文,留学生论文代写相关核心关键词搜索。
