Shu Huilan(2009)and Chen Zhe(2011)combined qualitative research withquantitative research,and used research methods such as experimental research,investigation research,and action research.They verified the experimental effects ofthe reading teaching model based on reading skills training and the training of criticalreading thinking in English reading teaching of middle school,and found that theteaching model based on reading skills training and the training of critical thinkingreading teaching can promote the improvement of students’English reading level.

Before the experiment,we design the the Questionnaire on the MultipleIntelligences of Junior Middle School Students(questionnaire one,see appendixⅠ)inorder to find the characteristics of the multiple intelligences of the students in EC,soas to make the reading teaching design based on MIT more scientifically and reliably.The students’multiple intelligences scores can be seen in AppendixⅣ.We use theSPSS statistical software for descriptive analysis and process students’scores ofmultiple intelligences.The processing results are shown in the table 4-1.

5.1 The Major Findings of the Research
