摘要:之间的一些实际研究对象大多为在校学生或大学的学生,有些是高中生,但少数国中学生体质。一些专家说,首要的事情是学习一门语言词汇的收购。

Wedon’t find the evidence for the influence on other aspects, although some evidence for theeffects of lexical chunks on reading is found. It is the foremost task for teachers to find outan appropriate lexical-chunk approach applying to other aspects of language competence infurther research. Thus, we will have a better understanding the nature of lexical-chunkapproach.
Thirdly, the results of this experiment prove that it is effective and feasible to improvestudents’ reading competence through the cultivation of lexical chunks awareness. Lexicalchunks should be regarded as one of the most significant parts during teaching Englishreading. In addition, the teacher should encourage students to use the reading materialsfrom various kinds of newspapers and magazines to deepen their study of the lexicalchunks. As a result, it will help the students strengthen the basic grasp of the language andenhance their ability to absorb and produce language information, finally achieving thepurpose of improving students’ reading proficiency. Meanwhile, the teachers should teachstudents reading strategies and give them more cultural background. However, lexicalchunks are prefabricated units, so we need much more studies on lexical chunks.
It is hoped that lexical-chunk approach will lead us a new realm in the research of theteaching and learning English. Thus, more and more researchers on lexical chunks arebound to see a greater future and exert more far-reaching influence on language acquisition.In the further research, more studies should be done in this field to give more evidence. Inaddition, more advanced experiment equipment should be used to increase the true value ofthe experiment. On the whole, the study of lexical chunks has a promising field not only intheoretical study but also in pedagogical practice, deserving considerable efforts. Maybe aninnovation is brought both in language acquisition and in language teaching.
