Reference Report for Nanyang Technological University Referee 1 – Professor Lu Jiahua 1. How long have you known the applicant and in what capacity? I have known this applicant for about eight years. I was his teacher when he was studying in Aviation Transport College of Shanghai University of Engineering Science from 1999 to 2003. His academic credentials are really exceptional and impressed me a lot with his hard work and strong confidence. He has done a good job in every subject. He also demonstrated his analytical and creative ability through his active participation and organization of many school activities. His integrity and social skills have also helped him gained much love and respect from his fellow students. 4. The applicant is a positive person and smart guy. He has displayed great potentials for leadership roles in his performance in the school debate. He led his team to the final success with his wisdom. I got to know Liu Wei since 2001 when we first worked together for a logistics project. His professionalism and problem-solving abilities left a deep impression on me. He is meticulous and contributed a lot to the completion of the project. He has strong sense of humor and always brings laughter to us. He is a good communicator and joyful team player.
