crunch, UK low inflation and high unemployment caused sweeping change in educating pattern of both European Union and overseas student. Economic factor have a direct impact on the potential attractiveness of various strategies. Trends in the pound sterling’s value have significant and unequal effects on colleges and universities overseas student recruitments at different UK locations. Consumer expenditure and disposable incomes influence by current interest rate, currency fluctuation and exchange rate may influence overseas student coming to UK to study. Foreign countries’ economic conditions and propensity of people to spend may also influence an increase in overseas student market to UK. Central and local government and private equity syndicates and private enterprise investors continually invest in education globally. Low energy costs, transport costs, tuition fees, communication costs, lodging costs / college hostels may also be economic future factors.

2.3. Social, Cultural, Demographic and Environmental Forces

Social, cultural, demographic and environmental trends are shaping the way overseas student flocking UK creating a different type of customer influencing developing and under-developed countries globally and consequently a need for new college, differential education programmes and services and different strategies. New and old, profit and non-profit institution of higher learning in overseas student market are being staggered and challenge by the opportunities and threats arising from changes in social cultural, demographic and environment factors. Albrecht (1979) said “The period from 1900 until the present stands apart from other period ……have been change, impermanence, newness and …”. According to the study of Hofstede (1994) societies with high power distance index that power and wealth are significant factors in society to the extent that it has inherently allowed these elements to develop within.

Currently, in these global crises, people are becoming more educated, young, middle-age and old, male and female across the globe. The aging population are returning back to schooling as means of continued education and self improvement for better jobs, life-styles and for businesses enhancement. Minority becoming more influential educationally, people looked for quality overseas education and new attitudes to education, work and leisure. There are shift in education value for money, culture, change in planned life betterment, health, attainment of higher qualification and demographic changes. There are more global emphasis being place on preservation of natural environment that is “Green environmental issues”, colleges and universities deeply involved in research and developments.

2.4. Technological Forces:

Technological force represent major opportunities and threats that must be considered in formulating strategies and development in nominally all related education sector that might be applicable. Technological advancement dramatically affect education sector smart approach to recruiting overseas student, facilities in teaching, research and development, means of communication (such as Internet, Intranet, Extranet, e-mail, fax, SMS, Text to mention few); means of competitive advantage and competitive positioning.
