Employee evaluation
Motivation and satisfaction
If any employee is appraised by the manager or supervisor then he is more likely to be motivated and satisfied. Performance appraisal would be very useful in the terms of Automobile Maintenance Organization as it can reduce the rate of absenteeism and turnover rates.
Training and Development
During the discussion of an employee's work performance, the presence or absence of work skills can be very obvious. Managers and supervisor can judge any employee with the help of performance appraisal that whether he or she needs training or not.
Recruitment and Induction
Appraisal data can be used to monitor the success of the organization's recruitment and induction practices. Manager can know that how well the employee is performing who was hired few years back. Performance appraisal can also be used to monitor the effectiveness of changes in recruitment strategies
Employee Evaluation
The most important factor of the performance appraisal method is to evaluate or judge the employee that how he or she is working. If the employee is working according to the needs of the organization then he or she should be appraised but if the performance of employee is not good or he or shoe needs any sort of training than needed training should be given to the employee.
As it has been seen in Automobile Maintenance Organization that the employees of the organization have lost their confidence and motivation and the rate of absenteeism is also increased because the employees are not well appraised and the think that their skills and work is not being appraised and their skills are being utilised very cheaply. In order to cope with the problem the CEO or the management of the organization should take some drastic measures to appreciate their employee's skills and performance so that they could be motivated and work to their full extent to get full output to the company.
