摘要:本文是高中英语教学论文,本文介绍了研究的背景和必要性,并详细阐述了副词性关联词语的理论基础及国内外对副词性关联词语的研究现状。针对现在高中阅读教学中现有的模式及现存的问题,引入副词性关联词语的概念、分类、判断标准及其在阅读教学中的作用。
s regard it as the most important parts in language learning. According toGoodman (1976), reading is a psycholinguistic guessing game. He also definesreading comprehension from the perspective of psycholinguistics. He maintains thatreading is a process of selection. Besides, he claims that reading comprehension is aprocess of making predications and judgments based on the readers’ previousknowledge as well as experience. Nevertheless, Harmer (1989) holds the view that“reading is a process of cooperation between eyes and brain”. Readers obtaininformation from reading materials via eyes and their brains are in charge ofprocessing the received information. However, Cognitive linguists argue that readingcomprehension is a fairly complicated cognitive process. From the cognitiveperspective, reading is not only viewed as a kind of language activity, but also adecoding process that converts surface structure into deep structure according topersonal experience and cultural background. In short, reading is a kind of cognitiveactivity. Also, William (2002) assumes that reading is a sort of capability to extractand properly understand information from printed texts.From what we have mentioned above, reading is an interactive and meaningfulprocess for learners. They can understand the whole meaning of texts influenced bytheir previous knowledge, and construct the understanding of the texts by virtue ofpsychological and cognitive competence.

As what I have mentioned above, ACs can help students interpret the text better,and deepen their understandings of the gist and detailed information. In this chapter,the two-month teaching experiment has been conducted in Senior Grade One atZhong Guo Senior High School, and this experiment is based on the current situationas well as the ACs-based teaching model, which aims to verify the feasibility andvalidity of ACs-based teaching model, that is to say, the purpose of this kind ofexperiment is inspecting the effect that whether this kind of teaching model canimprove student’s reading comprehension skills. In order to make readers better knowthe process and results of this sort of experiment, the detailed information can bedivided into these parts. All of the parts will be elaborated in details as follows.
5.1 Research Questions
