4. Data Analysis and Discussion 

This  part  is  data  analysis  and  discussion,  which  analyzes  results  of  the  pre-test  and  the post-test, presents students? attitudes upon writing after the experiment, and discusses major findings and implications. 

4.1 The Results and Analysis of the Pre-test

In this study, the pre-test, actually the mid-term test, was held before the experiment and its  results  were  analyzed  by  the  researcher  in  order  to  firstly  assess  all  subjects?  language abilities and writing proficiency and secondly make sure the EG and CG of being at the same level in English learning. Among all the subjects of the EG and CG, there were still some students who could not meet  the  basic  requirement  of  writing  at  least  100  English  words.  They  just  wrote  a composition  with  60-70  words,  which  showed  that  they  did  not  know  how  to  write  more words  except  for  describing  the  given  information.  They  might  want  to  write  more  but  did not know how to produce some exact expressions because of their quite poor vocabulary.   Some subjects could finish the required writing, but they made lots of mistakes in using vocabulary, grammar and so on. The researcher picked some examples from subjects? writing which were finished in the pretest.

Conclusion

This  part  is  mainly  organized  by  some  present  limitations  of  the  study,  major  findings, and suggestions for other researchers in this field and conclusion.   There  are  some  obvious  limitations  existing  in  this  study,  although  the  researcher  has tried her best to conduct the whole experiment as objectively and scientifically as possible.
