1 Introduction

1.1 Significance of the Research
Since the reform and opening up of China, English education and informationaltechnology has become increasingly popular. Fictional environment of the Internet provides anew communicational space for people，which makes more and more Chinese people beinterested in English. At the same time，the communication by using the exchange ofChinese-English on the Internet has become a fashion as well as an integral part of Internetcommunication. What's more it has become an essential part of network exchange.Micro-blogging in this messaging system has been immediately welcomed since its appearancein 2006，and the Chinese-English code-switching can also be found in this mini-blog. Howeverit may not be as substantial as people expected. What is its characteristic? Does it have anegative impact on the Chinese? In this article, the author does some preliminary analysisbased on the theory of sociolinguistics and manages to answer the following questions:1 What is the reason for this phenomenon?2 How many functions does this kind of code-switching have?Beginning in the 1970s, the phenomenon of code-switching attracted more and moreattention of the people from different fields. Researchers were engaged in different disciplinesincluding sociolinguistics，psycholinguistics and syntax. The study of code-switching indifferent environments has obtained great achievements. In these different ways，many scholarshave in Myers-scotton (1998) labeled model based on structural analysis code-switching.However，few data have been collected from a different language family, in addition toEuropean language family. In this study, the function of code-switching which Yu Guodongrecommended demonstrated that Pragmatic mode in code-switching adaptability ofChinese-English code-switching is still no improvement but in a different context. Studyingthis problem seems to be necessary. At the same time, the research in this area can be promotedto a certain extent.

1.2 Methodology of the Thesis
This part mainly introduces how the data can be collected and what the research methodof this paper is. Under normal circumstances, the researchers employ different researchmethods and the object of code-switching. The qualitative approach is one of the main reasonsfor the conversion code from the syntax，sociolinguistics，psycholinguistics and conversationanalysis perspectives. This study is from the perspective of sociolinguistics qualitative. In orderto have a code-switching, the author of this article also uses another type of research methods and quantitative analysis. In other words，the current study of quantitative supports forqualitative research to Verschueren's language adaptation theoiy and Yu Guodong'scode-switching the language model，which is called qualitative method. That is the adaptiveprocess of classification and analysis of Chinese-English code-switching. In addition to morecomprehensive and objective, quantitative methods, the author will study in this paperrecording supplement with Chinese-English code-switching frequency and the form of generalanalysis of Chinese-English code-switching,. In a word，theoretical and quantitative analysiswill be done in this paper to constitute the support of this article.
