摘要:英语教学在课堂教学中的设置多年来一直是最重要的科目之一。然而,在小学英语课堂教学和练习英语研究和实践中,英语教学一直沿用传统的英语教学方法来解释重复的词汇和语法解释。很难调动学生学习英语的兴趣和热情。
This research is to provide reference to the future’s primaryEnglish teaching through this experimental study.
1.2 Motivations for the study
The researcher was motivated to do the study in order to solve the following question: isit helpful for a learner to start to learn English with the situated teaching method in imitatednatural surrounding? And during the research, learners’ emotions would also be takenseriously. And through the imitation of the natural surroundings for the second languagelearning, the research was to discover whether the situated teaching method is applicable toEnglish learning.
1.3 Significance of the study
The significance of the study is as follows: practically, on the one hand, it is expected tofind out a better model to give suggestions to teachers to improve their instruction. On theother hand, this study would provide the students with some insights into how to learn asecond language well.Theoretically, it would discover the positions and functions of situated teaching methodfor the second language learning, which would promote further study of the second languagelearning. In addition, the influence of the emotion on SLA would be discussed during theempirical study.
1.4 Overall structure of the thesis
The thesis is divided into five parts.Part 1 serves as the introduction to the general description of the study, the motivation,the significance and the overall structure of the student. Part 2 covers the theoretical andrealistic basis of the research and also is a
literature review concerning the related foreign anddomestic literature review. Part 3 is about the research questions and the research designincluding the subject, instruments, data collection and data analysis. Part 4 are the analysisand comparisons of the results of the study and discussion of results from this research, thelimitations and some suggestions as well as pedagogical implications. Part 5 is to concludethe major findings of the research, limitations and some suggestions given to further study.
