本文是一篇英语词汇学论文,本研究以词汇测试卷、调查问卷和访谈提纲为工具,以建构主义,记忆的加工层次、知识可视化和社会互赖理论为指导,以武汉市某中学八年级88名学生为研究对象。
Chapter 1 Introduction
1.1 Background of Research
Phonetics,vocabulary,and grammar are the three elements that make up the Englishlanguage.Vocabulary serves as a medium for students to learn phonetics and grammar,acting as a link between the five aspects of English teaching,namely“listening,speaking,reading,writing,and teaching practice,”making it the most crucial factor in students’learning process.If students can proficiently master and flexibly apply vocabulary,they canenhance their ability to analyze English readings and express themselves better.Therefore,toeffectively teach English vocabulary,teachers must take into account the developmentallevel of their students and use appropriate teaching materials.Additionally,they should tailortheir instruction to the individual needs and learning styles of different students,teachingmethods of recognizing English words.
The traditional vocabulary teaching mode involves teachers reading words for students,and students learn words based on the teacher’s pronunciation system.The teacher teachesthe grammar application of vocabulary through text,and students memorize the text.Finally,students independently copy and memorize words,and teachers dictate words.Based onstudents’vocabulary quiz results,they are divided into groups,and those who fail arepunished to write words.This mechanical teaching system creates a fixed rote learningmethod for students,which ignores students’autonomy,creativity,and imagination.It alsoneglects the self-learning ability and active learning interest that students should have as themain body of the teaching process.Students passively accept learning,which not only easilyleads to students’fixed thinking,unable to flexibly use the vocabulary they have mastered,but also easily promotes students’loss of confidence in the learning of English vocabulary.
1.2 Purpose of Research
In this study,mind mapping was applied to the teaching of English vocabulary in juniorhigh schools to explore its teaching effectiveness.The purpose is that solve a series ofproblems such as the single teaching method of English vocabulary in junior high school andthe low efficiency of students’vocabulary learning.In addition,the teaching organizationmethod of learning groups as the main body that arises from the class teaching system can beused to guide group members to cooperate and exert the positive function of the group,improve individual learning motivation and ability,and complete specific teaching tasks.This teaching method centered on students promotes individual development while alsopromoting mutual learning and evaluation among peers,encouraging student participation inthe classroom,and enhancing teaching quality.This study also makes full use of thecharacteristics of mind mapping to show divergent thinking,uses hand-drawn and mind mapping software to design and summarize learning content,and applies it to all aspects ofteaching,so as to better serve teaching,enrich teaching forms,and provide teachers withbroader teaching ideas.It also provides learners with a learning strategy and review methodthat differs from traditional ones,helping students improve their ability to learnindependently and efficiently,change the boredom they feel when facing tedious本论文由英语论文网提供整理,提供论文代写,英语论文代写,代写论文,代写英语论文,代写留学生论文,代写英文论文,留学生论文代写相关核心关键词搜索。
