摘要:从理论上说,不同的学习者会采取不同的策略,在他们的第二语言的学习过程,这可能会导致不同的词汇水平,不同性别或不同的人情使用字典。在这里,本文将重点放在第一个可能的原因,即学习者的不同的词汇水平。
Conclusion
The present study, to a certain extent, has conducted some tests to investigate the relationbetween different e-dictionary using strategies and the vocabulary acquisition in the secondlanguage. Of course, as a tentative study, the limitations of present study should also be pointedout, that is: the choice of word level test. The present study adopts the testing words fromNation’s Learning Vocabulary in another Language (Nation, 2000). The range of those chosenwords in his word level test is large, and it is especially true for the productive word level test.Thus it may be difficult for the subjects to finish the test successfully and then their scores of thistest will not be so satisfying. Consequently, the gap between their scores of receptive word leveltest and productive word level test is expected to be widened, which may lead to the correlationbetween those e-dictionary using strategies and affect the vocabulary acquisition of secondlanguage in a certain degree.
The present study has discussed the relation between different e-dictionary using strategiesand the vocabulary acquisition in the second language from the aspect of receptive vocabularylevel and productive vocabulary level. These two levels are just one respect of vocabularyacquisition. In order to figure out a way for those L2 learners to learn vocabulary in the secondlanguage well, more research needed to be conducted from different aspects of influencingvocabulary acquisition, such as what factors may affect the learners’ vocabulary knowledge orcompetence or what factors may result in the different vocabulary depth and breadth of learners.
