Inflation–
The inflation happened in US inhibits consumption and increase the labor cost. There is no doubt that these changes all have a bad effect on airline industry. Furthermore, the government is determined to raise interest rates for bringing down inflation. As is shown in Balance Sheet, we can see that JetBlue has a huge percentage of debt. So the situation is unfavourable for it.

 Global-- 
Generally, war, the main oil-producing areas’ political turmoil such as Middle East in terms of natural disasters all can bring out fuel price surge. The war and political turmoil in Middle East influence international oil supply directly so that fuel price increase constantly. The hurricane season each year in the United States often affect air travel . Also, natural disasters can influence air travel and make airline’s profits decline.
