uman resource managers have the responsibility to manage, develop, train and retain the employees, the fundamental power to grease the wheels of companies. However, ethical problems have arisen and will arise continually in human resource management (Hosmer, 1987).
In a broad sense, ethics is a branch of philosophy which provides the standard to evaluate the rightness and wrongness of people's behavior. And in the field of HRM, ethics mainly involves those systematizing concepts about right and wrong behaviors of human resource managers.
According to Huang (2007), there are three levels of meanings about motivation, firstly, the process of being motivate; secondly, the driving power, precipitating factor and external incentive and thirdly, the status of being motivated. Motivation is one of important functions of management and will develop constantly with the development of human management activity. The essence of human resource management in modern companies is managing people through motivation (Huang, 2007). Human resource managers always design a high environment and carry out some reward distribution systems to standardize employees' behavior, motivate employees and guide and adjust employees' pace identically to realize company's objectives.
