There is the necessity of establishing the correlation between the actin filaments and microtubules in plants, and the microtubules in animals. Perhaps, the most significant question is, why the research? This is because they form lead to the formation and propagation of intracellular processes. It will be noted that, it is through such process that growth and development is appreciated. Therefore, the necessary research was conducted using Arabidopsis thaliana for the correlation between microtubules and actin filaments. There was a correlation between transversely and oblique oriented actin filaments and microtubules. The verity that there was a correlation between the AFs and MTs is an indication that both of them function towards intracellular growth. The treatment with jaspakinolide also worked towards affecting the alignment and cocalization of the actin filaments and microtubules.
Despite the fact that there is no evidence of the AFs contributing significantly to intracellular activities, it is obvious that there is some; level of correlation between AFs and the microtubules. This implies that both the cytoskeletons which are responsible for the replication of organisms, thereby leading to escalated growth, function towards intracellular development. Moreover, these results indicate that morphogenesis and cell division is possible through co-alignment of the actin filaments and the microtubules. Furthermore, the verity that cortical actin filaments, transiently co-align with the microtubules is an indication of the independent nature of the cytoskeletons. This is sufficient evidence that indicates the presence of AFs and microtubules in some animals. It has been reported that a combination of the two AFs and microtubules have been exhibited in some animals. This is based on the evidence conducted on live tissues of animals. However, it will be noted while the same is true, it is not evident that plants have the co-alignment and cocalization of the AFs and microtubules.
Perhaps, it is necessary to determine the effects of jaspakinolide on the effect of orientation of the microtubules. The treatment with jaspakinolide makes the actin fragments, reside in transient coincidence with the cortical; microtubules. Thus, results of treatment with jaspakinolide on live cells indicate that the actin filaments coincide with the microtubules. This is, ideally, because it is used to treat the cells. Therefore, the consequential results must be analyzed with regards to the co-alignment. Thus, it has been noted that the jaspakinolide affects the orientation of the microtubules. This is especially because it makes the microtubules get aligned through the actions of stabilizing the Actin Cytoskeleton. It will be noted that the alignment of the cortical actins and the microtubules is not limited to traverse alignment.
