     Using cold working, the wrought alloys is hammered, drawn or bent into shape at temperatures well below the recrystallization temperature of the metal. Steel and stainless steel are the most widely used wrought alloys.

Dental cements can be used as cavity lining, luting and endodontic treatment. There are three main groups of dental cements. (l) cements based on phosphoric acid : zinc phosphate, silico-phosphate cements. (2) cements based on organometallic chelate compounds: zinc oxide/eugenol, ortho-ethoxybenzoic acid (EBA), Calcium hydroxide cements in which the aromatic ligands are salicylates. (3) cements based on polyalkenoic acids: polycarboxylate cements and glassionomer (polyalkenoate) cement.
