信息和通信技术的教学应用
简介
在教育过程中,教和学其实是一个信息传输和接收的过程。人类文明的延续、知识的传输、文化的交流,都毫无例外地基于这类信息的传播过程。信息通信技术(ICT)的发展被看作是推动人类社会发展的主要驱动力。
本文试图考察ICT是如何应用于教学过程的。
利用ICT教学
回顾人类社会的发展过程,ICT的每次发展都大大增加受教育人数,并提高人的总体素质,因此也有效地推进了社会的变革。例如,文字的产生、纸张的出现、印刷术的发明等等等等,它们使受教育机会从少数精英阶层向普通民众扩展的机率大大增加。电报、电话、录音机、电视机等的出现也同样为人们提供了更多的通信渠道和信息来源。以因特网为代表的ITC则为教学带来了许多潜在效益:
信息的传播超越了时间和空间的限制。因此,教师和学生可以在任意地点、任意时间上课,而不是去学校坐在教室里上课。ICT可以充分利用有限的教育资源,并实现资源共享的最大化。

For instance, the formation of the character, the emergence of the paper, the invention of the printing and so on and so forth, greatly contribute to increase the opportunities achieving education from a few elites to general public; the emergence of telegraph, telephone, radio, television also provide people with more communication channels and information sources; ICT which is represented by Internet has brought many potential benefits to teaching and learning:
The dissemination of information transcends constraints of time and space. Thus, teachers and students are able to take lessons/lectures in any place, any time, instead of going to school and staying in classrooms; ICT can fully utilize the limited educational resources, maximize the resource sharing; ICT effectively promotes the interaction between teaching and learning and facilitates the communication, discussion and assessment between teachers and students; Modern education with ICT provide comprehensive content which not only contains traditional textbook knowledge, but also vocational skills training, professional certification and individual interest development, in order to meet the different needs of people.
