4.1.1 Compared Analysis of Pre-questionnaire Data in EC and CC
The pre-questionnaire aims to know the current situation of subjects'learninginterest in English reading in No.46th Middle School,when the Interactive TeachingModel had not been used in the teaching process.Moreover,this questionnaire wasto testify whether there existing difference among students'learning interest inEnglish reading in CC and EC.This questionnaire adopts Likert 5-point scoringmethod.The higher the score is,the more positive the learning interest of students is.That is,A=5,B=4,C=3,D=2,E=1.
Comparison of pre-questionnaire data of EC and CC was made.With the helpof SPSS software,comparison analysis was made of the pre-questionnaire data.Theresults are in Table 4-1:
As can be seen from Table 4-1,before the experiment,the average score of ECwas 3.34 and that of CC was 3.40.The two values were not very high as the fullvalue was five.Their values of SD were close.And the Sig value is 0.330>0.05,which indicates no significant difference in the subjects'learning interest betweenthe two classes before the experiment.And the subjects are proper to be selected forthe following experiment.What's more the mean values of the two.Meanwhile,themean values of the learning interest of the two classes was not high,indicating thelearning interest of the students to English reading teaching needs to be enhanced.
