Presentation Guidelines

The assignment for Decision-Making and Project Initiation is to deliver a 5-7 minute presentation on “important decisions to consider when initiating a project.”  To prepare for this assignment, review your notes from the readings as well as the material that was covered and/or emphasized during class sessions.  You will also want to review your notes from the two speakers who visited during the semester: Pat Harper and LouAnn Connor. 
As a point of reference for your presentation, think about the other members of the cohort and ask yourself: What types of suggestions would they find helpful for initiating a project?  What kind of tools or techniques should they keep in mind?  What types of decisions will be most important for them during project initiation?  What parts of the course material did I find particularly helpful for when I initiate a project?  What types of decisions do I consider to be most important at the start of a project?  Why?  These and other questions can help you to select the material that you feel is important and want to talk about in your presentation.
For your presentation, you may use PowerPoint slides or other media to help us visualize your content.  Try to use illustrations, models, or charts/graphs that organize your material and communicate a https://www.51lunwen.orglot of information in a short amount of space – in the spirit of “a picture says a thousand words.”
Please practice your presentation so that you do not go over the 5-7 minute requirement and we have time for Q&A after each presentation.
