Communication deals with communicating various information to employees who are from a variety of background. Development will ensure the career development of the employees who possess different qualities and abilities in their work. Performance appraisal is the feedback received from the outcome of an objective for an employee. Employee relations is the process of creating a comfortable work environment for all the employees fairly and which fosters the creativity.
Workplace Communication:
Effective workplace communication empowers people to influence others in the organization. The capacity of communicating effectively is an indicator of an individual’s intelligence and ability. Communication process has two phases namely transmission and feedback phase.
For an effective communication in the workplace, people should handle the conflicts diplomatically respecting the cultural differences and giving back good feedback. Management should give what the employees want trusting each other and doing work as fun. Four basic forms of the non-verbal communication are kinesics, facial and eye behavior, paralanguage and proxemics (Nelson & Quick, 2003)
