摘要:本文是英语毕业论文,本研究的意义在于初次从个案入手去深入探究年轻女学者在表达态度和判断的语言资源及其策略的使用,旨在对这个群体有更真实的了解。本文的不足之处也在于此,期望后来的研究者能适时扩大被试的数量,以增强生态有效性。

Interview with one typical informant has been carried out so as to gain the discourse or narratives.

2.2 Previous study on the genre of narrative
Since the mid-1970s, social science has witnessed a surge in empirical narrative research. At first, Labov (1981) defines narrative as one method of recapitulating the past experience by matching a verbal sequence of clauses to the sequence of events which (it is referred) actually occurred.According to Tannen (1980, 1989), by telling our own stories, people can express to others a sense of who we are, of our values and beliefs. Narrative of personal experience has been related to many forms of social identification such as cultural belongings and gender affiliation. De Fina (2003) noted that in reality, narratives are texts that recount events in a sequential order. Narrative approach is characterized as the sense or evaluation of temporality, relations and connection. Life is not experienced as a mere sequence of isolated events, but as a continuity of self-perceived meaningful experiences (Carr, 1986). The aforementioned lies in the brief introduction about narrative, what follows are empirical study on this genre. Ruohotie-Lyhty (2012) adopts the narrative approach to compare two newly qualified teachers’ professional identity formation. Very similarly, Li (2014) also choose newly recruited EFL university teachers as subjects, from the angle of the combination of narrative
methodology and N. Fairclough’s critical discourse analysis. Watson (2009) examines a counter narrative of entry into the teaching profession, with the purpose of exploring how the identity construction presented in a biographic narration that he assumes to be at odds with the “ orthodox “ narrative of becoming a teacher.
