Conclusion


In this study, motivationally conscious English teaching is designed byintegrating specific external motivation techniques. It proves that such kind ofteaching is an efficient way for stimulating nursing major students’ English learninginterest and external motivation in vocational college.For a long time, in the field of foreign language learning motivation, the internalmotivation has been stressed. And for the external motivation, a few studies havefocused on its category. However, it is necessary to put more energy into the researchof external foreign language learning motivation components for its important role inpromoting students’ English performance ability just as is shown in this study.
In addition, situational motivation has been a popular in recent years. And theexternal English classroom motivation is specified in this study. It is of greatsignificance to explore the classroom motivation, because Chinese students mainlylearn English in classroom. Although some findings have been found through thisstudy, more exploration is needed to deepen and widen the research on the externalEnglish classroom motivation factors. For the English classroom learning motivation,apart from learners as internal motivation, contextual factors as external motivationplay indispensable role for students’ learning.Anyhow, more researches would be conducted in the field of external Englishlearning motivation components, and more fruit would be gotten via scholars’ diligentworking as time goes.
